We need your voice on the Council of Representatives!
The call for nominations for the URFA Council of Representatives was issued on January 6, 2022, and closed on February 1, 2022.
There are still several vacancies on the Council, so we are issuing another call for volunteers who would like to get involved and represent their constituency.
The Council of Representatives (COR):
- provides policy advice and recommendations to the Executive Committee of URFA
- is an important part of the democratic governance of URFA
- is comprised of members from various areas at Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, Luther College and the University of Regina
If you a member of one of the following constituencies, you are eligible to represent your constituency at COR. If you are interested in volunteering (or have questions) please contact URFA as soon as possible at urfa@uregina.ca or call 306−585−4378.
The details:
Meetings of the Council of Representatives (COR) are held at least four times per year.
The terms for all COR members will commence May 1. However, one meeting will be held on or before April 15 to elect the following Executive Committee members: Member at Large (Academic), Member at Large (APT), and Equity Officer.
According to the URFA Constitution and Bylaws, the above vacancies on COR may be filled by appointment by the Executive Committee.
