Grievance Committee
The Grievance Committee functions to ensure that the provisions of the URFA collective agreements are maintained and that all members of the Association are treated according to the principles of natural justice. It is the duty of Grievance Committee members to provide fair representation to all URFA members.

APT Advocacy Committee
The URFA APT Advocacy Committee represents the interests of all APT members at the First Nations University of Canada and the University of Regina, including its satellite campuses.

Sessional Advocacy Committee
The Sessional Advocacy Committee meets monthly to advocate on behalf of URFA sessionals at Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, Luther College and the University of Regina. The committee works to raise awareness of sessional issues, lobby for improved job security and benefits for sessionals, and provide an opportunity for relationship building between sessionals, as well as between sessionals and URFA.

Equity Committee
The Equity Committee represents the interests of equity seeking groups at Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, Luther College, and the University of Regina, including but not limited to: Indigenous people, people from racialized groups and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, women and LGBTQ2S+ people.

Member Mobilization Committee
The Member Mobilization Committee (MMC) works to engage with and mobilize URFA's membership on issues important to members, as well as socially.

Pension and Benefits Committee
The Pension and Benefits Committee provides advice and recommendations to the URFA Executive concerning all matters related to benefit provisions, of the collective agreements, and any proposed revisions or extensions of them, plus policies and proposals related to mandatory and early retirement.

Trust Fund Committee
The Trust Fund Committee administers the URFA Trust Fund. The membership of the Trust Fund Trustees is the Treasurer, who shall act as the Chair of the Committee, and three additional members from the general membership.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee meets on a regular basis and is responsible for advising and making recommendations regarding our finances to the URFA Executive Committee, Council of Representatives, and the URFA membership.

Joint University Committees
URFA members participate as volunteers on numerous joint committees with the University of Regina and the federated colleges.
