Want to make a dif­fer­ence on cam­pus by get­ting more involved with URFA? Here’s your chance.

Unless oth­er­wise indi­cat­ed, terms start on May 1, 2022, and end on April 30, 2023. Vol­un­teers should be will­ing and avail­able to ded­i­cate time to the work of their Com­mit­tee, includ­ing attend­ing reg­u­lar meet­ings, assist­ing with tak­ing min­utes if nec­es­sary, and par­tic­i­pat­ing in Com­mit­tee events, cam­paigns, and work.

Griev­ance Com­mit­tee — Vol­un­teer Opportunities

The Griev­ance Com­mit­tee func­tions to ensure that the pro­vi­sions of the URFA col­lec­tive agree­ments are main­tained and that all mem­bers of the Asso­ci­a­tion are treat­ed accord­ing to the prin­ci­ples of nat­ur­al jus­tice. It is the duty of Griev­ance Com­mit­tee mem­bers to pro­vide fair rep­re­sen­ta­tion to all URFA members.

Coun­cil of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives — Vol­un­teer Opportunities

The Coun­cil of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives pro­vides pol­i­cy advice and rec­om­men­da­tions to the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee for the ben­e­fit of the Asso­ci­a­tion. The pur­pose, duties and respon­si­bil­i­ties of the com­mit­tee are man­dat­ed by the URFA Con­sti­tu­tion and Bylaws.

In the event there are more vol­un­teers than posi­tions avail­able, the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee will elect rep­re­sen­ta­tives. Elec­tion will be based on sub­mis­sions that will be request­ed from can­di­dates, which will describe your inter­est in serv­ing the com­mit­tee, and rel­e­vant expe­ri­ence that you may bring to the position.
