Seeking Members to Join the Grievance Committee

Nom­i­na­tions are now open for mem­bers who want to join URFA’s Griev­ance Committee!

The Griev­ance Committee:

  • Is com­posed of rep­re­sen­ta­tives elect­ed from Cam­pi­on Col­lege, First Nations Uni­ver­si­ty of Cana­da, Luther Col­lege, and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Regina.
  • Helps ensure that the pro­vi­sions of URFA’s col­lec­tive agree­ments are main­tained and that all mem­bers of URFA are treat­ed accord­ing to the prin­ci­ples of nat­ur­al justice.
  • Meets once per month.

Each com­mit­tee mem­ber is elect­ed by their con­stituen­cy for a three-year term (unless oth­er­wise indi­cat­ed) with one-third of the com­mit­tee mem­ber­ship elect­ed each year. The term of each mem­ber is from May 1st to April 30th.

Nom­i­na­tions pack­ages for the Griev­ance Com­mit­tee were dis­trib­uted to mem­bers in the areas where vacan­cies exist. Nom­i­na­tion forms may be down­loaded below, and must be received in the URFA office via email urfa@​uregina.​ca by 4:30 p.m. March 31, 2023.
