Call for Nominations — Grievance Committee

March 2, 2022

A call for nom­i­na­tions was issued on March 3, 2022 for Griev­ance Com­mit­tee elections. 

URFA’s Griev­ance Committee:

  • is com­posed of rep­re­sen­ta­tives elect­ed from var­i­ous areas of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Regi­na, Cam­pi­on Col­lege, Luther Col­lege and First Nations Uni­ver­si­ty of Canada
  • han­dles com­plaints, appeals and griev­ances by URFA members
  • ensures that the pro­vi­sions of URFA col­lec­tive agree­ments are main­tained and that all mem­bers of the Asso­ci­a­tion are treat­ed accord­ing to the prin­ci­ples of nat­ur­al justice
  • meets once each month

Each Griev­ance Com­mit­tee mem­ber is elect­ed by their con­stituen­cy for a three-year term (unless oth­er­wise indi­cat­ed) with one-third of the com­mit­tee mem­ber­ship elect­ed each year. 

The term of each mem­ber is from May 1st to April 30th.

Mem­bers are enti­tled to nom­i­nate and to vote only with­in their own constituency. 

Nom­i­na­tions Forms must be received by the URFA office at urfa@​uregina.​ca by 4:30 p.m. on March 31, 2022.
