Sessional Advocacy Committee
The Sessional Advocacy Committee has developed a list of answers to Frequently Asked Questions as a resource for Sessionals.
The Sessional Advocacy Committee meets monthly to advocate on behalf of URFA sessionals at Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, Luther College, and the University of Regina. The committee works to raise awareness of sessional issues, lobby for improved job security and benefits for sessionals, and provide an opportunity for relationship building between sessionals, as well as between sessionals and URFA.
The committee is always open to hearing from other sessional members, and there is always an opportunity for sessionals to share experiences, concerns and questions.
If you are a sessional and have questions, concerns, or you are interested in getting involved with the committee, please email the committee co-chairs.
All members of the Sessional Advocacy Committee receive a stipend for their participation in accordance with the Sessional Honorariums Policy.
The terms for positions on the committee are for one year — May 1 to April 30 of the following year.
